In today's meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will read out a letter from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Similarly, the chairman of the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Arju Rana, has an agenda to present the report of the Committee on Food Hygiene and Quality Bill, which originated in the National Assembly, in today's meeting, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
CPN-UML to obstruct HoR meeting today
Similarly, in today's meeting, Speaker Ghimire will present for decision the notice of opposition filed by MP Prem Suwal on the motion seeking permission to introduce the Bill, 2080 BS (Regarding Political Parties - Second Amendment).
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha presented the second amendment bill related to political parties in the meeting, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
In this bill, which was registered in parliament on February 1, there is a provision that when the parties are split, the old system of requiring the support of at least 40 percent members in the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party will be applied.
Meanwhile, the opposition CPN-UML has prepared to obstruct today's HoR meeting.
UML also protested in Thursday's meeting, demanding the resignation of Minister Prakash Jwala, who was held guilty in the Balkumari case by the probe committee.
The Central Committee meeting that ended on Thursday decided to demand the resignation of Health and Population Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala.
