Match between Nepal and Kuwait resumes as rainfall stops

KATHMANDU, April 29: The ACC Premier Cup semi-final between Nepal and Kuwait has resumed due to rain. After the rain stopped at the TU International Ground, the match resumed again.

The game has been reduced to 42 overs. The match was put off after Nepal scored 141 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 23.2 overs. After losing the toss and batting first, Rohit Paudel scored 30 runs and Kushal Malla scored 32 runs for Nepal.


Prior to that, openers Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Sheikh were dismissed after scoring 43 runs and 31 runs. Both were caught by Kuwait's Adnan Idris while Bhim Sarki added just one run and was dismissed by Mohammad Aslam.
