JALESHWOR, Oct 9: A group of robbers has looted goods worth millions of rupees from the house of a martyr's family on Saturday morning.
According to Mahottari District Police Office Spokesperson, Prakash Bista, the robbers came in a group of four or five people at around 3AM and looted 10 tola of gold jewelry and Rs 25,000 from the house of martyr Ganesh Prasad Chaudhary's son and Martyr Rohan Chaudhary's uncle Bijay Chaudhary.
The robbers, wearing masks with sharp weapons, broke into the house and looted their son Roshan Chaudhary while his father, Bijaya Chaudhary is in Kathmandu undergoing treatment. As Roshan resisted the robbery, the robbers hit him on the head with a weapon and injured him.
He received 11 stitches on his head while undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Jaleshwor and has been referred to Janakpur Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
