The department on the day inspected six other sweets shops in Jawlakhel and Lagankhel areas. The team found that most of the shops were run in unhygienic conditions. Ganesh Mithai Bhandar, Shreya Sweets, Badri ko Halwai Pasal, Jawalakhel Sweet Shop, Sanoj Sweet Shop and Lagankhel Sweets were found using excessive colors in sweet items.
"We will take necessary action against these shops very soon," added Koirala.
