BAJURA, May 10: The District Police Office, Bajura has cleaned up a huge cache of marijuana farming in the district.
Marijuana planted in 27 ropanis of land was destroyed at the directive of District Police Office Chief and DSP Uddhav Singh Bhat. A team deputed from the District Police Office, Martadi destroyed marijuana cultivated in 14 ropanis at Badhimalika municipality-1 Pata while another team from Police Post Dogadi brushed off marijuana planted in 6 ropanis at Chhededaha rural municipality-4, Dogadi.
Likewise, a police team from Kunna cleaned up marijuana farming cultivated in one ropani at Jagannath rural municipality-1, Piluchaur, informed District Police Office Chief Bhat. Likewise, other police teams destroyed marijuana farming in Himali rural municipality-5, Jagannath rural municipality-2, Juddi, and Boldig. The district has seen huge production of marijuana and smuggling of hashish outside.
