The Maoists attacked NC-Kalikot President Mukti Prasad Neupane when he was on his way to district headquarters Manma.
According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Pitambar Ghimire, Neupane has received injuries to the head and legs. Neupane who is currently receiving treatment at Kalikot district hospital, has received four stitches on his head. The Maoists had attacked him with khukuri and batons.
