He further said the party standing committee had decided to give home portfolio to Bishnu Paudel. Accusing that the Maoist were desperate for the home portfolio so that they could use security agencies in favor of a revolt, Oli said an YCL commander could not made home minister.
Meanwhile, Oli said the secret seven-point deal signed between UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was a “weakness” of the former.
“The chairman should not have signed the agreement without consent of the party. It is a human weakness and thus it should be amended,” Oli said, adding Maoists should not attempt to entrap Khanal through the agreement.
