Dahal agreed after Koirala assured Dahal that the functionality of the mechanism is focused on constitution making and logical conclusion of peace process rather than running the government.
Dahal informed journalists about his readiness to participate in the mechanism and told Koirala about the need of consultation with other main political parties.
Dahal went to meet Koirala leaving the all-party meet called by Maoists at Singha Durbar.
According to Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Koirala expressed unhappiness over Maoists’ obstruction in the parliament on the issue of arms deal. Koirala also asked Dahal not to believe on gossips about the arms deal.
