Paudel took rest at a relative´s house in Anbukhaireni, Tanahun after his release and was taken to Beshisahar later in the evening, UCPN (Maoist) Lamjung in-charge Devendra Parajuli said. Parajuli added that the kidnappers are still at large.
Paudel, a diabetes patient, is in serious condition and has not been able to speak due to mental stress, Parajuli said. UCPN (Maoist) Lamjung is scheduled to hold a press conference about the incident on Saturday.
Paudel had gone missing after leaving for Dumre to meet a friend on September 30.
