Talking to a delegation of trade union leaders close to various political parties at his residence in Lazimpat on Tuesday, the former prime minister said that problems of labors should be resolved based on class. "Problem of labors is purely a class issue and should be taken in that way," the Maoist chief said.
On the occasion, Chairman Dahal expressed his commitment to take initiative for establishing workers´ rights and suggested the trade union leaders to pile pressure on leaders of other political parties as well, Dahal´s press coordinator Santosh Paudel said.
During the meeting, the trade union leaders demanded for ensuring 10 per cent worker´s representation in the elections of the Legislature-Parliament.
Dahal expressed commitment to establish workers´ rights and said that representation of the working class people in the mainstream.
Representatives of the Federation of All Nepal Trade Union, Federation of Nepal Trade Union, Nepal Trade Union Congress (Independent), and other trade organizations were present at the meeting.
