KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The CPN (Maoist Center) has formed an ICT (information and communication technology) forum. Maoist Center Chair and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the forum by unveiling its statute by pressing a remote amid a function at the party office in Paris Danda on Sunday.
"This is an era of information technology. We must understand the importance of IT. Information technology has become an integral part to make a political party successful," he said.

Saying that the forum was created as per the decision of the party central committee meeting lately, he directed its expansion to the grassroots.
"The forum helps publicize the party's ideology, policies and work among people," said the Maoist Centre chair directing the newly formed forum to help make the party's three-month campaign a success through the use of information technology.
Others present on the occasion were party vice chairperson and spokesperson Agni Sapkota, the sister organization in-charge Pampha Bhusal, and leader and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma.
