The online nomination for the seventh edition of the ICT award organized by Living with ICT in collaboration with other national and international organizations has started today. The ICT award is the award in the field of information and communication technology that was started in 2016 and is given away every year.
Online nominations for 'ICT Award 2024' in 14 categories begin
The online nominations for this year’s ICT award are open under 11 different categories including Startup ICT award, Product ICT award, Rising Star Innovation ICT award, Pioneer ICT award, Nepali Diaspora ICT award, Entrepreneur ICT award, and Woman Icon ICT award, Digital Education ICT award in Public Sector, Digital Education ICT award in Private Sector, Digital Governance ICT award and Digital Services ICT award.
Razan Lamsal, chairman of the organizing committee, said that the best startups at the province level have been selected via the Startup & Idea Fest program which was conducted successfully in all seven provinces in March and May this year. The Grand Finale event will also recognize the top startups from each province in addition to the 11 genres. Similar to that, one of the genres will be revealed later and will also be aimed at an international audience.
Similarly, a special session called "Startup and Idea Fest" will be held in Kathmandu for over 40 startups that were chosen from every province and for dozens of startups that were chosen in the third phase from the awards.
The grand finale of the ICT Award 2022 will be held in the second week of December. Winners will receive various services and benefits special honors. The winners of the startup category will also get concessional loan and investment opportunities. The deadline to submit online nomination is August 16, 2022.
