Speaking at a press meet today in Itahari organized by Revolutionary Journalists Association, Thapa clarified that Maoist- led government resigned from the government thinking that it was difficult to establish civilian supremacy and work for nation´s sake. [break]
Thapa said his party was adamant in for civilian supremacy and following Comprehensive Peace Accord, adding that UCPN-Maoist registered the resolution motion on the legislature parliament to finalize the president´s unconstitutional move.
He alleged the present government saying it can not establish civilian supremacy in the country as it was functioning on foreign powers´ direction.
Thapa reiterated that constitution would be written within the slated time.
