CHITWAN, Oct 18: The Manakamana Cable Car has resumed regular services after undergoing repair and maintenance.
Deputy Manager of Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd, Ujjwal Sherchan, said the cable car service that was suspended from Tuesday to Thursday has been resumed from Friday. He said the cable car was serviced and the cables were also tightened during this period.

The cable car service was started on November 24, 1998 for the convenience of the visitors to the Manakamana Temple, a famous goddess shrine, in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality, Gorkha.
The bottom station of the cable car is located at Cheres, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-4, Chitwan.
