MAKWANPUR, May 25: One person has died after being hit by a bus on the East-West highway section in Thanabhayang of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-11.

In the accident that took place last night, a 40-year-old man died on the spot after being hit by the bus (Na 7 Ka 1675) en route to Kathmandu from Sarlahi, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari.
Makwanpur District Police Office has said that a necessary investigation is being carried out on the incident.
