The deceased is Lila Dallakoti, 88 of Chainpur VDC in Chitwan. He was resting in the waiting shed when the tractor suddenly overturned there, said the District Police Office Chitawan. Dallakoti died on Sunday evening while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur based College of Medical Sciences. [break]
The injured Prakash Giri, 14, of Gitanagar is undergoing treatment in the same hospital. The tractor has been taken under control but the driver is absconding, said police.
Meanwhile two persons were injured when a truck veered off the road and fell down on the bank of the Trishuli River at Bhaludhunga on the Narayangadh-Mugling highway in Chitawan on Sunday evening.
