On the basis of the claim made by a local healer, Devkumar Mandal on Monday fed human excreta to his brother Parikshan Mandal. [break]
“They said there is a family gathering at 4 pm and told me to attend it. Upon reaching there they accused me of being a wizard, garlanded me with shoes and fed feces,” said Parikshan. Devkumar´s wife was having some health problems.
When she was taken to a local healer, the healer said that their own family member was doing the harm and blamed Parikshan. While the incident took place at 4 pm, it was known to the locals 4 hours later, while the police arrived only at midnight.
“We came to know about the incident after the victim had already been fed feces,” said DSP Dhukan Yadav.
