Rim Bahadur Bhujel of Tapeshwori-9, murdered his wife Mainala Rai under the influence of alcohol, according to Krishna Paudel, police inspector at the District Police Office.
Rai, who was hit on the head with the stone, died on the spot. The incident occurred at around 9 pm when she was asleep.
The area police office Rampur, Thoksi has nabbed killer Bhujel, this morning. The deceased body has been sent to Udayapur District Hospital for autopsy.
