KATHMANDU, Dec 29: A team from the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari, arrested a 33-year-old man with a 9 mm pistol in Koteshwor on Sunday.
The arrested person has been identified as Sunrise Khadka, a resident of Narephat, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, according to Senior Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire, also the spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Police Office.

"Based on confidential information about arms trading in the Koteshwor area, our team apprehended Khadka at Hotel Bishpul," said Ghimire.
The police seized a 9 mm pistol, a magazine, and nine rounds of ammunition from Khadka. An investigation is ongoing, added Ghimire.
