According to the Area Police Office, Birtamod, the arrested is Singh Bahadur Khawas, 38, of Shaniarjun Municipality-5.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Bahadur Raut, said that Khawas was arrested on the basis of a complaint of rape case. Khawas had raped the both sisters on Tuesday evening.
Khawas raped the six-year-old and three-year-old sisters at their house at a time when they were alone in the house. He had consumed alcohol, it is learnt.
Both the girls underwent health check-up at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on Tuesday night, added Raut. RSS
