KATHMANDU, Oct 12: A man has killed his wife by striking her with a machete in Kailali.
While the festivities of Dashain are underway throughout the country, 50-year-old Dambar Bahadur Chunar of Mallodungeni of Chure Rural Municipality-6, has murdered his own wife on the night of Maha Nawami.

According to the police, Chunar attacked 47-year-old Hira Devi Chunar with a machete on the head around 1 AM, resulting in her death.
The police team from the Phaltude Area Police Office has taken Chunar into custody. Police have begun further investigation into the incident.
