Madhesh govt to send second phase of relief to Rasuwa flood victims

DHANUSHA, Sept 1: The Madhesh provincial government is sending a second phase of relief supplies to people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods today.

Home, Communications and Law Minister Fakira Mahato said the supplies are aimed at supporting families displaced by the floods and providing immediate relief to affected communities.


The province had provided Rs. 5.5 million in the first phase. The government is also expected to discuss additional relief assistance in a meeting on Tuesday.
