ITAHARI, May 13: The Madheli village – which recently merged with the Gadhi Village Council in Sunsari – was declared a fully vaccinated village on Friday amidst a function.

The Madheli village became the 16th village to be declared fully vaccinated as part of the campaign to vaccinate the entire villages, towns and a sub metropolis in Sunsari.

A few days ago Koshi Village Council was declared a village fully vaccinated. It became the 15th village to be vaccinated.

As the campaign run on a war footing draws to a climax, Local Development Officer (LDO), Tulasi Prasad Shrestha, made the announcement that the Koshi village has been fully vaccinated, and further pledged to make such announcements in other villages and towns.

On the occasion, District Public Health Office Chief, Mukunda Gautam, said the active participation of women volunteers and health workers would soon bring about a time to declare the entire Sunsari district as fully vaccinated. RSS
