LWF Nepal provides livelihood support to 30 families

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Nepal provided Rs 450,000 to 30 earthquake-affected families of Nanglebhare and Sanagaun of Shankharapur Municipality in Kathmandu district for their livelihood support on Friday.

LWF Nepal with the support of ACT Alliance distributed Rs 15,000 to each family. 14 households in Nanglebhare and 16 in Sanagaun received the cash support.Durga Nath Gautam, Executive Officer of Shankharapur Municipality, distributed the cash to the affected families. "There are many more families who are in need of such support. The LWF Nepal has supported the neediest among the affected people recommended by the community," he said.

The organization has been working in Rasuwa, Sindhupalchok, Dolakha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts linking relief and rehabilitation with development. LWF Nepal has provided relief to 21,005 families including those of Makawanpur and Kavre districts.
