Locals donate land to build police station in Myagdi

MYAGDI, Aug 13: Residents of Annapurna rural municipality-6 in Myagdi have donated land worth around Rs 3.5 million to build a local police station.

MYAGDI, Aug 13: Residents of Annapurna rural municipality-6 in Myagdi have donated land worth around Rs 3.5 million to build a local police station. 


According to the District Police Office, Myagdi,  it has received  a plot of land measuring four ropani and two ana (one ropani equals to  5476 sq. ft while one aana equals to 342.25 sq ft ) from locals Ganesh Khadka and Shiva Khadka for the construction of the building local police station.

As per the current market value of the land in the area, the contribution by Ganesh is worth Rs 2.14 million while Shiva's contribution is valued at Rs 1.2 million.


With the acquisition of land, the District Police Office has asked the higher offices to manage funds for undertaking the construction work.
