Locals close Chainpur over youth's death

DHANGADHI, Sept 23: Locals closed Bajhang’s district headquarters Chainpur demanding probe into the death of Dipak Dhami on Wednesday.



The locals claim Dhami was murdered and have demanded investigation into his death and action against the guilty. They closed shops and hotels in Chainpur bazaar from 10 a.m.



Dhami, 30, of Rithapatha VDC-8, was found dead under a suspension bridge in Bauligad on Wednesday morning. He had received injuries to his neck and other parts of the body.



Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Kumar Panta said they are investigating the incident. The bazaar was opened after a meeting involving all stakeholder, Panta said.
