BAGLUNG, April 16: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has stressed on holding the local polls in a single phase even after postponing the date for few days. 


In a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union Baglung Chapter here today, leader Poudel added that the election date could be slightly changed to allow the Madhesi Morcha to take part in the election and thereby to hold it in a single phase.

He added that the Morcha was creating problem after rejecting the constitution amendment bill brought to address their demands for two times. 


Leader Poudel claimed that the new amendment proposal was brought with the consent of Morcha but they surprisingly announced protesting programmes by rejecting it. 

He suspected over the activities of Morcha adding,"Are they plotting a conspiracy to obstruct the election process"? 


Leader Poudel further stressed on holding open discussions between the major three parties and the Morcha to resolve the problem. RSS
