Vice-Chancellor of the Kathmandu University, Professor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma honoured senior litterateur Dixit on the occasion of the 177th birth anniversary of the Bramhachari Shadananda.
The prize carries a purse of Rs. 50,000 and a letter of appreciation.
Brahmachari Shadananda had contributed to education sector by establishing school on his own efforts in Bhojpur district more than a century ago.
On the occasion, academician Bishnu Prabhat said honoured personality Dixit was eminent figure on oriental philosophy.
