DHADING (Gajuri), March 27: The literacy campaign has been affected due to failure in forging consensus among the political parties in connection with the appointment of local supervisor in three VDCs to steer ahead the national literacy campaign.

The District Education Office has already imparted training to 27 local supervisors excluding those of three VDCs on literacy campaign when consensus was unlikely among the major political parties at VDC level regarding the appointment of local supervisors for Nalang, Chainpur and Nilakantha VDCs of the district. The process to appoint supervisor in the three VDCs has been stalled due to the obstinacy of political parties to recruit people close to their parties.
