RUKUM, April 22: Three persons sustained injuries in Rukum after being hit by lightning that took place on Friday evening.
The injured have been identified as Lal Maya Wali, Sapana Wali and Dilsari Wali. All of them are denizens of Tribeni Rural Municipality-5.

They were struck by lightning as they were at the house of Raju Wali, District Police Chief SP Thaman Bahadur Rajali told Republica Online. According to him, one elephant was struck to death by lightning.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the local medical centers.
