KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Light rainfall is taking place in various parts of the country since this morning. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that westerly winds are currently influencing the weather conditions in Nepal.

According to the MFD, rainfall is currently occurring in many places in Sudurpaschim Province, few places in Karnali Province and one or two places in Lumbini Province. Along with the rain, there is also a possibility of snowfall in these provinces.

Similarly, the weather is mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country including the Sudurpaschim, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, along with the rest of the country. Few places in the central and eastern plains of the country are experiencing thunderstorms.
