KATHMANDU, May 20: The country is currently experiencing general influence of westerly winds as well as local winds. The Meteorological Forecast Division (MFD) has said that the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country, with partial change in the hilly areas of the country in the morning.

According to the MFD, the weather will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at few places in the hilly areas of the country. There is also a possibility of wind and storm in some places of Terai, Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
Similarly, tonight in Koshi and Gandaki provinces, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal, and the weather will be clear in the rest of the region. There is a chance of thunder and lightning at few places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
