KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that snowfall will occur in the high hills and mountainous areas of the country today.

According to the officials of the MFD currently there is a partial change in the weather in hilly areas of the country and the weather in the rest of the area is generally clear.

The MFD officials have said that the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon. In addition, it is also said that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces, while rest of the areas will experience generally clear weather and there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country tonight. 

The MFD officials have also requested everyone to take precautions as there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country and the temperature is gradually decreasing across the country.
