Three Star was declared the league winner with its two games to spare in the tournament after the sole contender Marshyangdi Club (MMC) played goalless draw with Nepal Police on March 27.[break]
With the win, Three Star has been awarded Rs 7.5 million, largest amount prize in the sport history of the country, while first runner up MMC bagged a purse of Rs 3.5 million. Similarly, Nepal Army Club ended league journey in third place and Rs 1.5 million.
