KATHMANDU, August 4: The Besisahar-Chame road connecting Lamjung to Manang has been blocked after an electricity pole fell due to landslides and flood.
According to information officer and engineer Purushottam Adhikari of the Dumre-Besishahar-Chame Project Office, the road has been blocked in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-4, Rambazar, since 11:30 this morning. Vehicles were stranded as the road was blocked due to a landslide and an electric pole on the road was knocked down by the landslide.

Adhikari said, 'Landslides have also occurred, and we have asked the authorities to remove the electric pole. After removing the pole, the road will be opened by clearing the landslide debris.
