Lamsal's fast-unto-death begins

KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Secretary and spokesperson of Nepal Gaurabshali Party Bal Krishna Lamsal started to stage a fast-unto-death at Shanti Batika, Ratnapark on Monday demanding that the 601 members of the dissolved Constituent Assembly return their remuneration.



The party has also threatened to boycott filing candidacy in the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections if the former CA members do not return the remuneration they enjoyed in the erstwhile CA. [break]



"Our party expresses concern over the preparations being made to give candidacy to the same CA members who failed to draft a constitution in the previous CA", says a statement issued by the Party here on Monday.
