Lamsal will work in the capacity of member secretary unless other provision is made, the ministry source said. He assumed the post on Thursday.
Jeevan Ram Shrestha resigned from the post last week after the ministry went to the Terai Madhesh Lokatrantik Party (TMLP) in the latest power sharing. Shrestha was appointed by CPN-UML.
Minister Ganesh Tiwari Nepali of TMLP has announced to bring change in the every post including that of the member secretary.
“It takes time to constitute a board inclusive in nature. A single person´s or party´s decision won´t to sufficient to make the appointment,” Nepali told myrepublica.com.
“We have to wait for some more days for forging consensus. I will forward the proposal for nomination in the upcoming regular cabinet meeting,” he added.
