Lamichhane presented in Kaski District Court for fifth time

Lamichhane was arrested on October 18 and he was brought to the court for the first time on October 20. On October 26, seven days were added to his remand with another 10 days added on November 5.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Police have presented former Deputy Prime Minister and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane at the Kaski District Court for remand extension today.

Earlier on November 10, the court had extended the deadline by 13 days to investigate the case filed against Lamichhane. Basant Kumar Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office Kaski, said that Lamichhane has been brought before the court for the fifth time on Sunday.


Lamichhane was arrested on October 18. After the arrest, he was brought to the court for the first time on October 20. On October 26, seven days were added to his remand with another 10 days added on November 5.
