In men´s doubles, Maheshwor Tiwari and Gagan Maharjan´s pair beat Siddhartha Moktan and Shakti Sharma´s pair 7-6, 7-1 and Kamal Bhandari and Chandra Shahi´s pair defeated Pranaya Karki and Rajkumar Lama´s team 6-1, 6-0 to advance in the round of last eight. Similarly, Santosh Khatri and Chhewang Lama´s pair, Rameshwor Thapa and Binod Gautam´s pair also secured quarterfinals spots after they enjoyed walkover from the opponents.
During inter-governmental service men´s doubles held at APF court Halchowk, Shyam Thapa and Amulya Singh teamed up to beat Sanat Kumar Basnet and Deepak Gurung´s pair 6-0, 6-2. In the event´s men´s singles category, Durga Bahadur Kunwar defeated Chudaraj Nepal 6-0, 6-3 while Rajendra Bahadur Singh toiled hard to beat Prem Kumar Shahi 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to advance into quarterfinals.
The other players to make it through to the last eight are Suresh Kumar Shrestha and Shyam Sundar GC. Nawal Shah and Aatmaram Karki got a walkover.
In men´s inter-governmental service above 45, Prem Kumar Shahi, Durjakumar Rai, Manohar Das Mull and Rajeshman Shrestha emerged victorious while Lal Prasad Rokka received a walkover.
