KATHMANDU, Aug 24: The government has decided to place Jhalakram Adhikari, Director General (DG) of the Department of Immigration (DoI), on the reserve pool. This decision comes in light of credible information suggesting his consistent communication with Dawa Lama, a Chinese national who was apprehended in connection with a gold-related incident.
A senior official informed Republica about this development. The move to reassign Adhikari to the reserve pool is a response to concerns regarding his association with the aforementioned Chinese individual.
