KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Tribhuvan Army Club duo Lalita Maharjan and Gita Kumari Thapa have progressed to the semifinals of the of women's 46-48 kg event in Fourth Nationwide and First Novice Boxing Tournament on Thursday.
APF's UrmilaThapa and Debika Bhujel of Udayapur joined them in the last four of the tournament.
In 48-51 kg of the same event, APF's Mala Rai, Army B's Sita Pathak, Bhaktapur's Nita Gosai and Army A's Minu Gurung also won their respective games.
Similarly, all the quarterfinal matches of the women's 51-54 kg, 54-57 kg and 57-60 kg were held on Thursday. All the quarterfinal matches of the senior men's 49-91 kg also concluded on Thursday.
