KATHMANDU, July 22: Kumari Bank has distributed galvanized sheets to earthquake survivors of Nawalparasi. Issuing a statement, the bank said that its directors Shova Kant Khanal, Santosh Lama and Constituent Assembly (CA) members Jeevan Shrestha and Krishna Prasad Poudel, among other dignitaries, jointly distributed the galvanized sheets to the earthquake survivors on Saturday.

According to the statement, 81 families, whose houses were completely damaged by the earthquake, were provided two bundles of corrugated sheeets each. "Similarly, Kumari Bank is distributing galvanized sheets to quake survivors in other quake-hit areas of Gorkha, Dhading and Sindhupalchowk. In total, Kumari Bank has offered support worth Rs 5.1 million for the earthquake survivors," added the statement.
