Kumari Bank, NCHL sign agreement for IPS

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Kumari Bank Ltd and Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) have signed an agreement for interbank payment system (IPS).

Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that it's acting CEO Officer Rajib Giri and NCHL CEO Nilesh Man Singh Pradhan signed the agreement on Sunday on behalf of their respective companies. As per the agreement, NCHL will provide its NCHL-IPS to Kumari Bank Ltd, according to the agreement.

“Following the agreement, clients will be able to make direct credit and debit on the accounts of the BFIs affiliated with the NCHL-IPS,” the statement added.
