EBL, NCHL sign agreement for IPS

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Everest Bank Ltd has signed an agreement with Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) for Inter Bank Payment System (IPS). Issuing a statement, the bank said that its CEO AK Ahluwalia signed the agreement with NCHL's CEO Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan amid a function on Tuesday.

"With this agreement, EBL customers now have privilege for interbank payment and fund transfer," reads the statement. Speaking at the function, Ahluwalia said that this facility would not only reduce the service delivery time but also encourage Everest customers to use alternate channels.
