IME, NCHL sign IPS agreement

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: IME Ltd and Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) have signed an agreement for interbank payment system (IPS). Issuing a statement, the remittance company said that its CEO Suman Pokhrel and NCHL CEO Nilesh Man Singh Pradhan signed the agreement amid a ceremony held on Thursday.

According to the statement, NCHL will provide its IPS service to IME as an indirect member. "Now onwards, remittance companies will be able to provide remittance payment directly to the account of BFIs who are the members of the NCHL-IPS," reads the statement.
