KATHMANDU, Aug 9: Germany's former karate player Katja Krob on Sunday distributed corrugated zinc sheets to the April 25 earthquake victims of Pyutar VDC, Lalitpur.

Krob, who raised fund from karate players of Germany, distributed the zinc sheets to earthquake victims of ward no 5, 7 and 9 of the Pyutar VDC. She distributed relief goods worth Rs 325,000.
Min Krishna Maharjan, former treasurer of the National Sports Council (NSC) had taken initiatives for support from Krob. Maharjan, Krob and Eighth South Asian Games gold medalist Ravi Maharjan, among others, distributed the relief goods. The April 25 earthquake and aftershocks had claimed the lives of around 9,000 people across the country.
