The infection rate is rising in the Kathmandu Valley with the lifting of the nationwide lockdown since the night of July 21.

On Friday, the Valley reported over 100 cases and with this, entry into the Valley has been tightened and surveillance has been increased in the areas with cases of infection. All the three district administration offices - Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur - have announced to close all services except the most essential ones from Sunday.
