Actor Khagendra Lamichhane's directorial debut film 'Paniphoto' has set a release date. The movie is set to be released on August 26, 2022.

Khagendra, who started acting in films through ‘Talakjung vs Tulke’, has already introduced himself as a 'versatile actor' who played impactful roles in Pashupati Prasad, Damaru Ko Dandibiyo, and Dhanapati.
The movie is an adaptation of the famous play 'Paniphoto' staged at Gurukul a decade ago. It is a story of parents who are waiting for their son who went missing almost a decade and a half years ago during the Maoist insurgency period.
Along with Khagendra, the movie features Sunil Pokhrel, Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan, Prakash Ghimire, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Kamal Mani Nepal, Malika Mahat, Prakash Ghimire, among others.
Deepak Bajracharya is the cinematographer for the movie which is edited by Arjun Karki and Nimesh Shrestha. The movie is presented by Tuki Arts in collaboration with Manjushree Films.
