Leaping 5.33m, Keshari bagged her first gold in the women's long jump and later claimed another gold in the 100m hurdles with the timing of 16.15 seconds. Keshari's teammate Krishna Chaudhary leapt 4.90m for her long jump silver medal while Ramita Chaudhary, also from NPC, finished third with the distance of 4.85m.
Sabita Chaudhary of Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Sports Club won silver medal in the women's 100m hurdles with the timing of 17.17 seconds as Santu Kumal Chaudharu of NPC finished third clocking 19.06 seconds.
Meanwhile national women's javelin throw record holder Smirti of APF bettered her previous record with the record throw of 37.78 m, breaking her own record she had created in the National Open Championship held in September 2013.
Chandrakala Lamgade of NPC claimed silver with the distance of 39.27m and Laxmi Tharu of Central Region won bronze medal with the throw of 57.24 m.
Likewise, Dhirendra Jung Shah of Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) won gold in men's javelin throw with the distance of 57.24m. APF took silver and bronze medals with Bal Krishna Chaudhary throwing the spear 53.07m and Ishwor Shrestha 50.73m for the departmental team.
Lal Bahadur Thapa of TAC and Kanchi Maya Koju of APF took pole positions in the men and women's 10000m race. Thapa covered the distance in 31 minutes and 06.1 seconds, leaving behind Gopi Chand Parki of APF (32 minutes and 17.2 seconds) and Hari Kumar Rimal of TAC (32minutes and 19.6 second) at second and third respectively.
In the women's category, Kanchhi completed the race in 38minutes and 13.1 seconds to finish ahead of Bishwo Rupa Budha (40 minutes and 29.00 seconds) and Santoshi Shrestha (41 minutes and 29.00 seconds) of Central Region at second and third places respectively.
TAC swept men's and women's 800m race with Mukti Bahadur Khadka and Saraswoti Bhattarai clinching gold in their respective categories. Clocking 1 minute and 56.3 seconds, Mukti left behind Karan Khadka of NPC, who completed the race with the timing of 1 minute and 59.8 seconds, and Narayan Shrestha of APF (2 minutes and 01.3 seconds) in the third spot.
Women's winner Saraswoti competed the race in 2 minutes and 20.2 second ahead of Phulmati Rana of APF (2 minutes and 24.9 seconds) and Sita Neupane of Central Region (2 minutes and 39.6 seconds) in the second and third positions respectively.
Dilli Khatri of TAC leaped 6.66m to clinch gold in men's long jump. Chabi Lal Chaudhary (6.33m) and Chandra Dev Joshi (6.61m) secured silver and bronze medal respectively.
