The district NC President Tirtha Lama has issued a statement and said that he has recommended action against the central members Acharya, Lama and the chairman of the House of Representatives Constituency No. 2, Kharel, so that they do not hold any responsibility in the party.

In Kavre-2, Shiva Prasad Humagain, the NC candidate for the House of Representatives, was defeated by Gokul Prasad Baskota, the CPN-UML candidate. But Tirtha Lama was victorious in the provincial assembly. They are accused of asking for votes for opposition candidates without asking for votes for Humagain and Lama.
